About
This is the main website or “hub” for the Fuzzy Wednesday home server project and all of its information and documentation.
The home server project is a PC homelab/server developed by Joe, with additional support and media library provided by Andrew. The server was created with the goal of providing the “Fuzzy Wednesday” family with a variety of self-hosted and fully-owned services, apps, and platforms, so they no longer have to fully rely on broken promises from Big Tech.
The physical machine is an old Cybertron Hellion TGM 1213J gaming PC purchased in 2016 that Joe converted into a server running Linux. The machine's specs are:
- Processor:3.5 GHz AMD FX™-6300 6-Core
- System: 64-bit OS and x64-based processor
- OS: Original OS was Windows 10 Home; converted to Debian 12, “Bookworm”
- RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600MHz
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT-740 2GB
The Docker container ecosystem is installed, managed via Docker Compose, and runs all of the services, apps, or platforms that we want to self-host. Including this very web page!
If you're interested in supporting the home server project and you're feeling generous, you can encourage Joe to keep coding (and sysadmin-ing?) things for the fam by tipping him on his Ko-fi page!
